CEFOTAX

TREATMENT OF RESPIRATORY INFECTION AND MENINGITIS

Composition:

Cefotaxime sodium

INDICATIONS:

Treatment of meningitis, acute pneumonia, pasteurellosis, pleurisy, metritis, nephritis, arthritis, dermatitis and secondary bacterial infection as PPRS, FMD, cholera…

DOSAGE: Deep intramuscular injection.

- Piglet: 1 ml/ 10 kgs B.W

- Pigs (> 50 kgs B.W): 1 ml/ 15 – 20 kgs B.W.

- Calves, goats, sheep: 1 ml/ 20 kgs B.W.

- Bovine: 1 ml/ 30 kgs B.W.

Single dose in 72 hours. The dose can be repeated in the severe cases.

Withdrawal time: 07 days before slaughter.

Contra-indication: Be careful in using for animals with renal failure or allergy to cephalosporin.

PRESERVATION: Store in a cool place and keep out of direct sunlight.
