ANALGESIC, ANTIPYRETIC AND SPASMOLYTIC
COMPOSITION
1 ml contains:
Metamizole sodium monohydrate 500 mg
INDICATIONS
For horses, cattle, pigs and dogs for the relief of pain, spasm and fever, and for mild anti-inflammatory effects, including colic, esophageal obstruction, febrile conditions, musculoskeletal and nervous disorders.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Horses: Slow intravenous administration.
Bovine, porcine, dogs: Slow intravenous route (in acute states) or deep intramuscular route.
Horses: 20-50 mg of metamizole sodium monohydrate/kg of body weight (4-10 ml of the veterinary medicinal product/100 kg of body weight)
Cattle: 20-40 mg of metamizole sodium monohydrate/kg of body weight (4-8 ml of the veterinary medicinal product/100 kg of body weight)
Swine: 15-50 mg of metamizole sodium monohydrate/kg of body weight (3-10 ml of the veterinary medicinal product/100 kg of body weight)
Dogs: 20-50 mg of metamizole sodium monohydrate/kg of body weight (0.4-1 ml of the veterinary medicinal product/10 kg of body weight)
Maximum volume administered at one site should not exceed 29 ml (in Cattle), 20 ml (in swine).
Withdrawal period
Horses: Meat (intravenous administration): 5 days
Bovine: Meat: 12 days
Milk: 48 hours
Pork: Meat: 12 days
Do not use on mares whose milk is used for human consumption.
