COMPOSITION:
Each mL contains:
Cefquinome sulfate ............... 75 mg
INDICATION:
For the treatment of infections caused by cefquinome-susceptible microorganisms, including: Pasteurellosis and respiratory tract infections, Metritis–mastitis–agalactia syndrome (MMA), Arthritis, Dermatitis in cattle, buffaloes, horses and pigs.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.
Shake well before use.
- Cattle, buffaloes, goats and sheep: 1 mL per 20–30 kg body weight, administered subcutaneously. Administer two injections at 48-hour intervals.
Do not administer more than 10 mL per injection site.
Each injection site should be used only once during the treatment course.
- Pigs: 1 mL per 15–25 kg body weight, administered intramuscularly.
Administer two injections at 48-hour intervals.
Do not administer more than 3 mL per injection site.
Each injection site should be used only once during the treatment course.
WITHDRAWAL PERIODS
Meat and offal
Cattle, buffaloes, goats, sheep: 13 days
Pigs: 7 days
Do not use in dairy cows producing milk for human consumption, including during the dry period, or in pregnant cows and heifers within 2 months before the expected calving date.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to cefquinome, other cephalosporins, penicillins, or to any of the excipients.
PRESERVATION: Store in a cool place and keep out of direct sunlight.
