TREATMENT OF PNEUMONIA, METRITIS, AND ARTHRITIS

COMPOSITION

Each mL contains:

Ceftiofur hydrochloride … 100 mg

INDICATIONS

For the treatment of bacterial infections in pigs and cattle caused by ceftiofur-susceptible organisms, particularly respiratory, enteric and systemic infections, including pneumonia, pleuropneumonia (APP, PRDC, BRD), diarrhea, edema disease (E. coli), septicemia, arthritis, foot rot, metritis and mastitis (MMA).

Also indicated for secondary bacterial infections associated with FMD and PRRS.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Intramuscular injection (pigs) or subcutaneous injection (cattle). Shake well before use.

Piglets: 1 ml per 12–18 kg body weight.

Pigs: 1 ml per 20–30 kg body weight.

Cattle, buffalo, sheep, goats: 1 ml per 45–60 kg body weight.

Repeat once after 48 hours if necessary.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

Meat: 7 days; Milk: 0 day

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not use in animals hypersensitive to any component of the product.

STORAGE:

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
