TETRA - OX 500

COMPOSITION: 

Each 1 gm contains:

Oxytetracyclin HCl….......................500 mg

INDICATIONS

For the treatment of respiratory bacterial infections in calves, goats, sheep, pigs and poultry.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For oral administration via drinking water, milk replacer (calves, lambs, kids) or mixed with feed.

Poultry: 1 g per 2 – 3 liters of drinking water or 1 g per 20 – 25 kg body weight.

Pigs: 1 g per 15 – 25 kg body weight or mix 1 kg per 1 ton of feed.

Calves, lambs and kids: 1 g per 20 kg body weight.

Administer continuously for 3 – 5 days. Treatment may be extended up to 7 days in severe cases.

Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals hypersensitive to tetracyclines or in animals with severe hepatic or renal impairment.
