NP-BELCOTIN-S

COMPOSITION: 

Each 1 ml contains:
Colistin (as sulfate) - 5.000.000 IU

INDICATIONS:

Treatment and metaphylaxis of enteric infections caused by colistin-susceptible, non-invasive Escherichia coli in cattle (calves), sheep (lambs), pigs, chickens, and turkeys.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Route of administration: Oral use, via drinking water (or milk/milk replacer in calves)

Poultry (chickens and turkeys): 1 ml of product per 13–15 litres of drinking water, or 1 ml per 66 kg body weight per day (equivalent to 75,000 IU of colistin sulfate/kg body weight/day), for 3–5 consecutive days.

Calves, lambs, pigs: 1 ml of product per 5 litres of drinking water,
or 1 ml per 50 kg body weight per day (equivalent to 100,000 IU of colistin sulfate/kg body weight/day), for 3–5 consecutive days.

Notes:

Prepare medicated water fresh daily.

Any medicated water not consumed within 24 hours must be discarded.

Withdrawal period:
Calves, lambs, pigs: 1 day.
Chickens, turkeys: 1 day
For eggs: zero days.
Not authorised for animals producing milk for human consumption.
