COMPOSITION:
Each 1 gm contains:
Tylosin tartrate….............................500 mg
INDICATIONS:
Treatment and profilaxis of bacterial infections in calves, swine and poultry, caused by
microorganisms susceptible to tylosin, particularly in:
- Broilers: CRD complex (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, chronic enteritis
(Clostridium perfringens);
- Turkeys: infectious sinusitis (Mycoplasma gallisepticum);
- Cattle: pneumonia (Mycoplasma spp.);
- Swine: enzootic pneumonia (Mycoplasma spp.), adenomatosis and ileitis (Lawsonia
intracellularis).
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
For oral use in drinking water or artificial milk (pre-warmed to 40°C).
Poultry & turkeys: 100 g of the product per 400 L of drinking water.
Swine: 5–6 g of the product per 10 L of drinking water, for 3–5 days.
Calves (pre-ruminant only): 8 g of the product per 100 kg b.w., in artificial milk, for 3–5 days.
Use medicated water or milk immediately and renew every 24 hours.
Withdrawal period
Meat & offal: 12 days (calves); 2 days (swine, poultry, turkeys).
Eggs: 0 days.
